Terms of Use

Debout — last updated: September 4, 2026 · Version française

By using Debout, you agree to these few simple rules.

The service

The app is provided as is: it helps you get up, but you're the one who gets up. Make sure your iPhone's volume is turned on — Debout can't be held responsible for a missed wake-up. Don't rely on a single alarm, whichever it is, for anything critical (an exam, a flight, an important meeting).

Subscription, price and renewal

The Debout Premium subscription starts with a 3-day free trial, then renews automatically at the yearly price shown in the app for your country (in France: €24.99 per year, about €2.08 per month) unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, from your App Store account settings. If you don't cancel before the end of the trial, it turns into a paid subscription. Payment is charged through your Apple account.

Refund requests are handled by Apple (reportaproblem.apple.com).

Intellectual property

Debout's illustrations, texts and mascot are protected. Please don't reuse them without written permission.

Availability and liability

Debout is provided "as is". Whether it works as expected depends on your device: volume on, notifications allowed, enough battery, Focus settings. The publisher can't be held liable for a delay or any indirect damage resulting from a missed wake-up.

Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought before any legal action; failing that, the French courts will have jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rules that apply where you live.
